I’m busy making a massive batch of my pebbles for an upcoming Dom Joly live tour where the audience can re-enact the moment he got hit by a stone on ‘I’m a Celebrity Get me Out of Here!’ if he mentions ‘the Jungle’ during the show - you’re not supposed to talk about the Jungle after leaving the show. The stone was famously thrown by Stacey Solomon so Dom is calling them ‘Stones of Solomon’.
Obviously, throwing real stones around theatres is going to present some Health and Safety issues, which is where my 100% felted wool pebbles come in. They only weigh about 8g each and are way softer than polystyrene or plastic and will travel further when thrown than sponge or foam. Yes, I’ve been throwing them round my house and at my head to test this out.
