A few weeks ago, workmen re-opened a tunnel in London’s Notting Hill Gate tube station that was sealed since 1959. Inside was a treasure trove of 50s film and advertising posters which were photographed by Mikey Ashworth for London Underground. There are some fantastic examples in the collection, including the Pepsodent ad pictured above.
